• What you should know before going to Leeds.

Leeds is a city in West Yorkshire, England. Situated in the North, it is quite well comunicated with the rest of the cities in England, Scotland and Wales.

• Discovering Leeds

- Look for the city owls
Owl is the representing symbol of the city, if you are bored, you can sightsee and look for the more than 20 owls hiden on the most importantant buildings. For instance the Civic Hall

• Accomodation

Different kinds of accomodation can be found within the city centre: from luxury and expensive hotels such as Leeds Marriott, Radisson Blu Hotel or The New Ellington to cheap B&B's like Etap Hotel or Discovery Inn Hotel both in the city centre.
If you are looking for a house it is likely to stay at a B&B and look for it once you are in Leeds.
As a students city, Leeds is full of students residences, personally the best option if you are a student.

• What food Spanish people miss from Spain.

Do you like pasta but you don't like cooking? You should bring tomato sauce for your spaguetti. Cola-Cao is also a classic Spanish poeple bring in their lugagge from Spain. Cadbury chocolate is OK but Cola-Cao is much better (we all know it).  Moreover, if you are a "coffeaholic" and you cannot afford a coffe maker, you should bring a coffe pot from home. 

But if your luggage or you do not like taking food in it don't worry, this shop was a great discovering. So, if you visit Notting Hill in London (and you will probably do it) you can visit it.

• What to do when you arrive.

The first thing to do is provide yourself of basic goods such as kitchen or bedroom stuff. Home bargains, Tesco, Ikea, Primark and many more shops in the city centre will help you.

• Leeds Uni or Leeds Met?

Of course Leeds Uni but if you are a Met student don't worry, you are welcomed too.
